1. Introduction Welcome to Patch ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Patch mobile application.

2. Information We Collect When you use Patch, we collect:

• Account information — your email address and password (encrypted)
• Profile information — your username, full name, bio, and profile photo
• Content — photos and captions you post
• Usage data — posts you like, fire, comment on, and accounts you follow
• Messages — direct messages you send to other users
• Optional — your Instagram username if you choose to provide it

3. How We Use Your Information We use your information to:

• Create and manage your Patch account
• Display your profile and posts to other users
• Enable social features including following, reactions, and comments
• Send in-app notifications about activity on your posts
• Improve and maintain the PTCH platform

4. How We Store Your Information Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a third-party database and storage provider. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Photos are stored in secure cloud storage. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

5. Information We Share We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever. Your profile, posts, and activity are visible to other Patch users according to your usage. We do not share your data with advertisers or third-party marketing companies.

6. User Generated Content You own the photos and content you post on Patch. By posting content you grant Patch a non-exclusive license to display that content within the app. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

7. Data Retention We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us, which will result in the deletion of your profile and associated data.

8. Children's Privacy Patch is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
